T. Daniel Platt

Following graduation from the University of Denver College of Law in 1997, Mr.Platt served as an intern with the Environmental Defense Center in Santa Barbara, California. Thereafter, he entered private practice providing research, law and motion, and appellate services for small firms in Santa Barbara and in Boulder, Colorado. Mr. Platt is admitted to practice in the States of Colorado and California, and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Mr. Platt has served as Special Counsel to Duncan, Ostrander & Dingess since December, 2000. His practice emphasizes water rights and eminent domain matters.

Mr. Platt earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in 1980. While attending the University of Denver College of Law Mr. Platt served as Feature Editor for the Water Court Reporter (1996-1997), and was a founder and Treasurer of the Land Use Law Society. He received the Award for Scholastic Excellence for academic performance in Public Land & Resource Law, and an Environmental Law Seminar in Preservation by Acquisition. Mr. Platt serves as a member of the Board of Directors of The Trust for Land Restoration.
